'RAT ON STAMPS'

Liechtenstein, a microstate situated next to Switzerland.

Rat Zodiac Larger Souvenir Sheets from different countries from
1996 to 2020.

Some of the stamps were presented in a First Day Cover 
with nice special cancellation.

Very limited Rat species on stamps.

Rooden is not a popular creature, but we still have some interesting
fables, children stories that attribute to them.  One of it can be seen in the
famous Walt Disney's creation, Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Mickey and the gang celebrating 
the Chinese New Year.


 All these stamps and Miniature Sheet are placed on an A4
presentation page ready for exhibition.

The earliest zodiac stamps on the "Year of Rat", 

which were issued in Japan in 1960, featuring a 

traditional papier-mâché toy from one

 of the perfecture.

This set of Rat's Tale stamps was issued in 1996 by

 the Viet Nam Post to celebrate the "Year of the Mouse".  

The stamps featuring "The Rats' Wedding", which 

take place on the third evening of the 

Tết Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

In celebrating the "Year of the Rat", SingPost launched a set

of two stamps together with a $10 Special Collector's Sheet. 

The design is based on the colourful Chinese paper-cutting art.

Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (1900), William Shakespeare (1564),
Henry Dunant (1828), George Washington (1732), Prince Charles (1948),
  Lord Mountbattent  (1900) etc......
